Formed in 2002, following the tragedy of September 11, 2001, and bolstered by a shared admiration for the “heroes” employed as firefighters, emergency medical technicians, law enforcement officers and military personnel, a group of Minnesota real estate-related business owners created an innovative network called Homes for Heroes™. We offer considerable savings to heroes when they buy or sell a home. Later, the program was expanded to serve even more workforce heroes, including teachers, health care workers, military personnel, and other every day heroes who provide quality services to the public every day.

My name is Travis Karr, I am a professional Firefighter/Paramedic in Illinois. I am wondering if there are any refinancing options for my Family and me. If not I will use your services to sell. Due to some health care issues I may not be allowed to work any longer, due to those issues I may not be able to afford my home any longer. I am hopeful to stay in my home but if I cannot refinance my home I may be forced to sell it. This program means alot to me and many others, it is nice to know what we all do does not go unnoticed. Thank you.
Travis

I am a full-time firefighter/emt and also a volunteer fireman within my county. My family is ready to buy a home of our own and while I was searching the web, I found a link to your site. Can you please let me know if your program is available for me here in Amarillo, Texas?

Hi, I wanted to learn more about your program. I’m a certified Medical Assistant and my husband is a sergeant at a correctional facility and also a navy veteran. We reside in Corpus Christi, TX and been wanting to get a home of our own but wouldn’t be able to afford the closing costs or down payment.
Thanks

My name is Derek and I’ve been a Volunteer Firefighter for a little over three years. I have been looking all over online for any type of assistance to buy my first home. However everything I am finding is for “Paid” Firefighters and not Volunteer’s. I’m starting to feel that not only do I risk my life for free i now can not get any help buying a home because i’m a Volunteer. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction.
